I started the monthly meetups after playing in my first sanctioned tournament and realizing it wasn’t the kind of experience I was looking for at the time. I wanted a more relaxed, welcoming way to enjoy disc golf—something that focused on community over competition. When I couldn’t find that locally, I decided to try and create it. The goal has always been to give new players, families, youth, and really anyone a space to try the sport, build confidence, and have fun without the pressure of a highly competitive environment—while also giving returning players a chance to relax, socialize, and just enjoy being out on the course together.
